It's not an airplane.....

As we begin our second year we are still building. We are adding on a student information system. Before we only had an LMS. We are adding field trips and clubs. There's not much excitement from the staff this year. The tension comes from the teachers want to be paid market rate. One possible way to achieve that is too take on more students. However with the more we are already taking on and the fact that this was a full time job last year already. It's not a good tension.

Last year I felt that we were building the plane as we were flying it. But it's really more like a pirate ship. Much more like building a pirate ship as we sail off the end of the world.
